MESSAGE FROM around the world

Activity in Africa (Tanzania & Nigeria)

November 19, 2024

Dear Mrs. Patti Melvin,

In September, we officially enrolled 122 new members in Moshi Diocese and Mbulu Diocese.

The Holy Spirit Parish in Mbulu Diocese is 158 miles from Moshi. In 2023, two leaders from Moshi visited this Parish to propagate the ULRA devotion. We elected a leader and gave them a seminar on how to organize the Living Rosary. A few years ago, I had been receiving names of new members through a former ULRA member of this Parish, who had education on the ULRA. In June 2024, our team revisited them and had another seminar and they agreed with the Parish Priest that the ULRA members are ready for the official enrollment.

We make frequent visits to follow-up after the Living Rosary is launched. Well before the official enrolment, we organize a 3-day retreat with confession during the Holy Mass.

After the Gospel and sermon, the ULRA new members stand before the congregation and the priest asks questions to confirm their firm decision to pray the Rosary and their assigned Decade daily. Then, they say the Consecration Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Thereafter, the priest blesses the Rosaries and Brown Scapulars and invests the new members with the Sacramentals.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support with Rosaries, Miraculous Medals, Scapulars and many other devotional items. God bless you and our benefactors!

Dear Mrs. Patti,

May the name of the Lord be praised now and forever! Amen. We thank the Lord for all those who contribute in various ways to support and promote the mission of the ULRA. May He bless and reward abundantly those who offer their financial support, time and resources, as well as those who make our Brown Scapulars and Rosaries. Your generosity enables mission lands, like ours, to receive the Sacramentals of God’s Power, Providence, and Presence. We pray for you and our benefactors every day. Peace and blessings to all!
